This is a 25kg bulk bag of Rippon rusk. It is widley used in the UK and Ireland for making of sausages. Ripon is the industry leader in producing rusk for the sausage industry. The rusk has superious water absorbtion properties and also give less shrinkage during cooking. Rusk is manufactured from wheat flour, salt and a raising agent by a traditionally slow process of baking, drying, gristing and blending to produce a consistently high quality product capable of absorbing twice its own weight of water without being soft and pasty.
